SAP GUI (SAP Log on) 7.30 for JAVA is the newest version that Macintosh users can download and install it to their computers. The installation of GUI for Java for MAC users is limited to 64-bit systems due to the requirements for Oracle JDK 7 on Mac OS X.

Many Adobe applications depend on the Oracle Java Runtime Environment (JRE) for some features to work. Apple recently changed the way it includes Java in Mac OS, and with Lion, Java is no longer preinstalled. It is now an optional install that you must select.

NDNoise is a Java-based freeware that enables to remove noise indigital images.

Features in version V0.4:

• load / save multiple image with the same filter tuning

• Download NDNoise.win.zip
• Unzip the content of this file somewhere on your disk
• double-click on file NDNoise.exe
• Important : if you don'thave a Java machine installed on your machine, NDNoise willprompt you to download and install JRE1.4.2 (download the JRE,not the SDK !) here : http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html.This version 1.4.2 is sufficient to run NDNoise, and is lighter todownloadthan the latest Java machine here : http://www.java.com/getjava

• Download NDNoise.OsX.zip
• Unzip the content of this file somewhere on your disk (avoiddirectory included in a directory with a space in its name, some userreported it could couse toubles to launch)
• double click on application NDNoise
• Important : you shouldhave a Java machine installed on your machine with a version higherthan 1.4.1. • Download NDNoise.multi.zip
• Unzip the content of this file somewhere on your disk
• launch the JAR file with a command like :

How to use

Using NDNoise is very easy and intuitive :

1. launch NDNoise
2. it will prompt you to choose an image, select a file
3. the image is then displayed
   
4. change the Noisefiltering slider(up for more filtering, and down for less filtering) and press [Calc] button to get a newevaluation of the filtering
5. change the Dots/Spotsfiltering slider(up for more filtering, and down for less filtering) and press [Calc] button to get a newevaluation of the filtering
6. change the Retexturingfiltering sliderto avoid plastic effect because of a too strong filtering (up for moretexture, and down for less texture) and press [Calc] button to get a newevaluation of the filtering
7. you can zoom in/out to appreciate the result, choose the imageyou want to see (original / filtered) or alternative viewing
8. when you are ready with all images, press [Save]button !
